And isn’t it odd how the first person that visitors need to see is often the last person that a company, or group of companies in a shared space, feel that theyreally need?No matter how disruptive not having one may be to the employees who sit closest to the door.
Meet Greetly, an iPad app that greets visitors at your small office or shared open floor-plan space. Visitors simply choose the purpose of their visit, who they are there to see, and enter their name. Greetly then notifies the host employee and logs the visitor’s information. Greetly can also capture a visitor’s picture, signature and NDA agreement.
It’s downloadable. And setting up the system takes less than 10 minutes.

Tell us about the service.
Greetly is the iPad receptionist for the modern office. Visitors and delivery services use Greetly to check themselves in. Greetly instantly notifies host employees via voice call, text message and/or email.
How is it different?
When was the last time you arrived at an office for a meeting, but were unsure about how to notify your contact? There was an empty reception desk, or the front door opened into an open office. You probably experienced this today already!
As fewer offices have dedicated receptionists, visitors are left to fend for themselves. Should we disturb the employee closest to the door? Get out our cell phone? Walk around until we find them? Wait for a receptionist to come back to the desk?
Greetly creates great visitor experiences by quickly and efficiently connecting visitors with their hosts.
What market are you attacking and how big is it?
There are 17 million technology and professional services offices in the US.
What is the business model?
Greetly is a SaaS business model. Clients pay between $49 and $199 per month based on the number of host employees.
What are the milestones that you plan to achieve within six months?
Double our client base; add new features based based on client feedback.
How has participating in the JFE Accelerator in NY helped your company?
JFE was a fantastic experience. The program exposed us to functional experts that helped shape our vision, product roadmap and sales strategy. We gained years of expertise in just two months.

Peter Shankman. I have long been a fan of HARO; a valuable service that stemmed from the goal of connecting his network for mutual benefit.
Why did you launch in New York?
Every time I look out the window I see an endless supply of potential clients. New York is the best place on Earth to sell enterprise products.
What’s your favorite part about being in NYC?
I’m originally from New York. Kevin Weiss was raised in Chicago. We met in Denver and collaborated on startup opportunities for years before launching Greetly.
The food! Since landing in New York ,we have not stopped eating. Our world-class dining experiences includes Italian, Greek, Chinese, Polish, German, Japanese. Not to mention the bagels and street food.
